Participants learn to share thoughts, feelings and wants—while also developing listening skills that deepen their understanding of others. 

 We foster friendly, comfortable interaction: turn‑taking, simple conversation, and shared experiences with peers and community members. 

 For participants who use visual tools, gestures, devices or other non‑verbal modes, we provide personalized supports so that all voices are valued.

 We help participants use their preferred mode of communication to make choices, express preferences, and participate actively in decisions that affect their lives. 

 From greeting a neighbor to placing a café order, we embed communication practice in everyday settings so skills transfer beyond our program walls 

 We support routines and skills such as using public transportation, handling money, managing time, navigating digital tools, and cultivating healthy habits. 

 We collaborate with businesses, host job‑coaching opportunities, and build workplace soft‑skills, explore interests, and secure meaningful roles. 

 We teach and practice skills for participating fully in social, recreational, and civic life: forming friendships, volunteering, and exploring new environments. 

 We offer coaching in understanding feelings, using calming strategies, adapting to change, and building resilience. 

 Participants set goals, reflect on progress, celebrate successes, and engage in hands‑on experiences that build momentum toward next steps.
